• Drive from Srinagar to Shitkadi campsite by vehicle
• Approx. 90 km road journey
• Drive duration: 3 hours
• Scenic drive through Kashmir valleys and mountain roads
• Reach Shitkadi campsite and prepare for the trek
• Overnight stay in dome tents

Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Srinagar to Shitkadi, the base camp of the Kashmir Great Lakes Trek. DAY 4: Acclimatization & Rest Day at Vishansar

Rest Amid Beautiful Alpine Landscapes
Today is reserved for acclimatization to help the body adjust to higher altitude. Trekkers can relax at camp or take an optional visit to the beautiful Kishansar Lake located near the campsite. Depending on weather and trail conditions, this day may also be used operationally during the trek.

DAY 5: Vishansar Lake to Gadsar via Gadsar Pass

This is one of the most rewarding days of the trek as trekkers cross Gadsar Pass, the highest point of the Kashmir Great Lakes Trek. The trail offers beautiful views of mountain ridges, alpine lakes, and open valleys before descending towards the scenic Gadsar campsite.
