Trek Itinerary
Day 1: Drive from Dehradun to Raithal Village
- Distance: 185 km drive from Dehradun to Raithal village.
- Drive Duration: Approximately 9 hours, including short breaks.
- Route: Scenic drive along the Bhagirathi River, with views of lush valleys and mountain ranges.
- Evening: Short acclimatization walk in Raithal and a briefing session about the trek.

Raithal is a charming village in Uttarakhand, known as the gateway to Dayara Bugyal. It offers traditional wooden houses, warm hospitality, and beautiful views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks

Day 2: Trek from Raithal to Gui Camp
- Trek Distance: 4.5 km from Raithal to Gui Camp
- Trek Duration: 5 hours, with breaks for rest and acclimatization.
- Trail Type: Gradual ascent through oak and rhododendron forests, with open patches.
- Water Points: One water source midway; advisable to carry 2 liters from the start.
- Highlights: Scenic forest sections with occasional mountain views through clearings.
- Camp Setup: Tents at Gui meadow, with views of the surrounding forest

Gui Lake
Gui Lake is a serene, small high-altitude lake located near the Gui campsite on the Dayara Bugyal trek. Surrounded by lush meadows and pine forests, it offers a peaceful spot for trekkers to relax and enjoy nature’s beauty.
Day 3: Trek to Dayara Top and Return to Gui Campsite
- Trek Distance: 6 km one way
- Trek Duration: 6-7 hours of a gradual, steep ascent.
- Begin the trek with a moderate ascent through meadows and forest patches.
- The trail opens up to vast, open meadows as you approach Dayara Top.
- This is going to be the most challenging day of your trek.
- Spend time exploring the summit, taking photos, and enjoying the view.
- Relax with packed lunch at the top, soaking in the beauty around you.
- Start your descent back to the Gui Campsite after spending ample time at the top.
- Return to Gui Campsite by late afternoon and rest.

Stunning 360-Degree Mountain Views
From Dayara Bugyal, enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree view of the mighty Himalayan peaks Mt. Bandarpoonch, Jaonli, Srikanth, and Draupadi ka Danda look so close, it feels like you can almost touch them. This is the most unforgettable part of the trek.

Day 4: Gui Campsite to Raithal, Drive to Dehradun
- Trek Distance: 5 km from Gui to Chilapada.
- Trek Duration: 5 km (2-3 hours) + 180 km drive (7-8 hours)
- Trail Type: The trail back is mostly downhill, allowing for a quicker, easier trek.
- Arrive in Dehradun by evening, marking the end of a memorable trek.
