Day 1: Arrive in Manali
- Meet your trek leader and team for a detailed expedition briefing

- Descend carefully back to Lady Leg.

No. Friendship Peak is best for trekkers with prior high-altitude trekking experience. The climb involves steep snow ridges and technical sections, so good fitness and some exposure to snow conditions are strongly recommended.
You don’t need mountaineering experience, but you should be comfortable walking on snow and handling steep climbs. Our guides train you in basic mountaineering techniques like using crampons, ropes, and self-arrest on snow.
It’s rated as a difficult trek. The altitude, steep snow slopes, and long summit day make it physically and mentally challenging. With proper preparation and guidance, it’s achievable for fit and determined trekkers
May–June and September–October are the ideal months. These windows offer stable weather, manageable snow conditions, and clear skies for summit views. Monsoon and deep winter are unsafe for this climb.
